With an outdoor hot tub, 2 indoor jetted tubs, and stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains, Twin View is an idyllic spot for a romantic getaway. Then again, its location—close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park, and Ski Area, and Rocky Top Sports World, to name only a few—makes Twin Views an equally fantastic choice for an active vacation with friends or family. (And those jetted tubs are just the balm your tired muscles will long for after a day spent hiking, fishing, skiing, or walking the length of Dollywood with the kids!)
Each of its 2 stories has an ample deck with a view of the mountains and master bedroom with a king-size bed, a full bathroom, and one of the previously mentioned jetted tubs. The layout makes the chalet perfect for 2 couples vacationing together; each will have their own private—and marvelously comfortable—retreat.
In addition to a bedroom, the lower level has a well-equipped game room. If you’ve never played pool before, the full-size billiard table presents the perfect opportunity to learn. Kids—and plenty of adults too—will make a beeline to the foosball table. Turn on the boom box and it’s an instant party!
Between games, you can kick back on the futon, which opens into a bed for 2. Or open the French doors that lead onto the lower deck and take the party to the hot tub—instant relaxation! (And sharing the hot tub with that special someone beneath the silvery gleam of the moon is so romantic!). Or perhaps you’d rather chill with the whole family on the deck chairs while admiring the mountains and the seemingly endless skies. Maybe you’ll spy eagles or falcons soaring overhead or white-tailed deer dashing through the surrounding woods!
Upstairs is the main living area, decorated in a way that perfectly melds the rustic and the refined. With 2 supple leather couches and a roomy recliner, the living room can accommodate a small crowd. Whether you’re watching a movie on the flat-panel TV with the kids, stretched out on the sofa with your tablet to take advantage of the free WiFi, or enjoying a nightcap by the golden glow of the gas fireplace, you’ll feel right at home.
As well as being near ski slopes and hiking trails, Twin View is only 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants certain to satisfy even the fussiest eaters. Sometimes, though, it’s easier and more fun (not to mention more affordable) to eat in. Twin View’s kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re hosting a holiday dinner for the entire clan or preparing a gourmet meal for two. There’s a charcoal grill outside too, should you want to barbecue. Because the kitchen has plenty of storage (including a full-size refrigerator/freezer), you can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay, so you don’t have to waste precious vacation time making multiple trips to the supermarket. The dishwasher will save you even more time.
The dining table easily seats 4, and there’s room at the breakfast bar as well. But you’ll probably want to take advantage of the upper deck’s patio table and chairs. The singing of the chickadees during the day and the whip-poor-wills at night is magical background music!
Sounds perfect, doesn’t it? So why not make your reservation today, and get ready for that perfect vacation you’ve long dreamed of!
