Description for Time for Two
When you step into the great room of Time for Two, you’ll be charmed by its rustic ambience: wood-planked floors and walls, a beamed ceiling, and a stone-surround fireplace. But, you’ll also be delighted by the cabin’s modern luxuries, which include an outdoor hot tub, an indoor Jacuzzi, complimentary WiFi, and cable TV.

Despite its name, Time for Two can sleep up to six people in utter comfort. Each of its two bedrooms has a king-size bed, a TV, and plenty of storage and space. These are rooms you’ll love retiring to at the end of an action-packed day. The master suite, which makes up most of the loft, is especially pampering. Not only does it offer exceptional privacy, but it includes a jetted tub as well. When you return from skiing, hiking, or rafting, you’ll love luxuriating among its soothing, steamy bubbles. The master suite has its own full bathroom; a 2nd bathroom is located, along with the 2nd bedroom, on the main floor. And if you have additional guests, the great room’s sofa converts into a queen-size bed.

The great room is spacious enough for everyone to gather together, whether it’s to watch a movie on the 42” plasma HDTV, share a meal at the dining table, or play charades by the glow of the gas fireplace. The roomy recliner is an especially inviting place to settle back with that book you never have time to read at home; here’s your chance! There’s even a desk, should anyone in your group have to catch up on work or homework during your stay.

Although trying new restaurants is often a highlight of a vacation, sometimes it’s more relaxing (and more budget-friendly) to dine in. Time for Two’s kitchen is fully equipped with stainless-steel appliances, cookware, and tableware. And the open layout means you can keep up with the conversation or watch TV while you cook. Outside there’s also a grill, so you can barbecue alfresco.

Given Time for Two’s serene woodland setting, you’ll want to spend as much time outdoors as possible. The covered main deck is furnished with rockers and a bench so that everyone can revel in the fresh mountain breeze, the chirping of chickadees in the morning, and the hooting of owls at night. Another way to relish the sights and sounds is while soaking in the deck’s hot tub. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better way to end the day. There’s an upper deck as well, accessible via the loft’s catwalk. Kick back in its rocking chairs with your special someone for a spot of late-night stargazing or to catch the sunrise. It’s moments like those that often make the most magical memories.

Time for Two’s other amenities include a washer, a dryer and a large paved driveway that can accommodate multiple vehicles. And let’s not forget the cabin’s proximity to the attractions of both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. In just 15 minutes you can drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a wonderland of waterfalls, wildlife, and wildflowers; Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area; or downtown Gatlinburg. Downtown is where you’ll find Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, thrill rides, arcades, mini golf, restaurants, distilleries, and much more. Drive a bit farther and you’ll be in the Smoky Mountains Arts & Crafts Community, an 8-mile trail of more than 120 shops, galleries, and studios offering everything from candles to quilts. And within a half-hour of the cabin are Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, dinner theaters, and more Pigeon Forge attractions.

Time for Two is proof that when it comes to a Smoky Mountain getaway, you really can have it all: peaceful surroundings and plenty of attractions close by, old-fashioned rustic charm and modern-day conveniences. Experience its pleasures for yourself; book your stay today!

Clean, cozy, with in a few minutes drive to Gatlinburg. Loved it!

Very nice vacation cabin
Overall it was very nice. The view could have been better and it was a little noisey inside the cabin when people moved around at night but otherwise a very enjoyable experience.

very nice and well kept, quite and peaceful
had a great time while we were there. many bears in the area and they would come right up on the deck/porch. Had to keep a watch out for them as they were not afraid of people. Had a very quiet and peaceful stay, enjoyed spending time with the family. Lots to do in town, just made sure we were up by dark as it was very windy and steep! overall a great cabin and a great stay!
