Description for Sweet Blessings
Whether you plan to ski, hike, or check out all the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg, you’ll find Sweet Blessings an ideal home base. The 2-bedroom chalet-style cabin, which sleeps 6, is perched among the Smoky Mountains in the Chalet Village community. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, and downtown are all within a 10-minute drive. What’s more, from the cabin’s spacious wraparound deck you’ll have views of lush woodlands and the mountains themselves.
Sweet Blessings’ setting is nothing short of spectacular. Fortunately, the deck is furnished so that you can spend hours outdoors. Enjoy breakfast at the picnic table while wrens and warblers greet the day; sip a nightcap under the stars while ensconced in one of the comfortable Adirondack chairs. The vistas are so glorious and the surroundings so serene, you’ll find it hard to believe just how close you are to everything from mountain coasters to restaurants.
The cabin’s interior is just as restful. The wood-planked cathedral ceiling gives the great room an airy, welcoming vibe, which is enhanced in winter by the golden glow of the fireplace. Once you sink into the plush sofa or one of the 2 roomy recliners, you might never want to get back up. Luckily there’s a flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player to keep you entertained, along with free WiFi.
When it comes to dining, you have numerous options. Scores of restaurants, offering everything from seafood to Italian to fondue, are just a short drive away. You can also dine either on the deck or in the great room’s dining area. Four people can comfortably sit at the round dining table, and 2 more can belly up to the adjacent breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re hosting a holiday feast or whipping up margaritas to enjoy by moonlight.
Each of Sweet Blessings’ 2 bedrooms includes a log-frame queen-size bed. One bedroom is on the main floor, while the 2nd is tucked up in the loft. Having the bedrooms on separate floors allows for additional privacy. If you have extra guests, you can open the great room’s sofa; it converts to a queen-size bed.
Along with 2 bedrooms, Sweet Blessings has 2 bathrooms. You’ll be able to indulge in a long, pampering shower without worrying about a line forming on the other side of the door. Nor do you have to worry about bringing towels or linens; you’ll arrive to find plenty of clean towels in both bathrooms, the beds impeccably made up, and extra bedding ready and waiting. If you want to start your vacation with a shower or a nap, you can.
Chances are you won’t want to spend too much time sleeping, however. There’s simply to much fun to be had nearby! If you stay at Sweet Blessings in the summer, you’ll have free access to Chalet Village’s outdoor swimming pool. A visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a must; you can discover its wildlife, wildflowers, and waterfalls on foot, on bike, on horseback, or by car. Also close by is Ober Gatlinburg, where you can ski and snowboard its slopes in winter and enjoy rides, ice-skating, and a wildlife exhibit year-round. The attractions of downtown Gatlinburg include the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, mini golf, and arcades. Also nearby are the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster and the Wild Bear Falls indoor water park.
No matter how you spend your day, you’ll love returning to the quiet, calm, and natural beauty of Sweet Blessings afterward. Book your stay today, and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Reviews for Sweet Blessings
Very nice and a great view!
This is a great cabin!
The cabin has an amazing view of the mountains! It's very comfortable!
Fantastic view, quiet and cozy cabin!
Just far enough from town (5 min) to offer the tranquillity of the woods, but close enough to enjoy all the perks Gatlinburg has to offer. Steep incline to get to cabin by road but all paved so no issues.
Very well maintained
The property was very well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back again.
Loved this charming cabin!
We are a senior couple(75 years old) and loved staying at Sweet Blessings! We would warn others that there are a lot of stairs leading from the parking spot to the deck. Could be difficult for Seniors. Would recommend this homey cabin home.
