Yet another full bathroom
Like the rest of Standing Bear Lodge, the five bathrooms are outfitted in simple but comfortable rustic style.

Sleepover Central
Although the bedroom’s queen-size bunk beds can accommodate four people, you won’t feel cramped, thanks to the room’s ample size.

Master Suite
Located on the top floor, the master suite boasts a king-size bed, a fireplace, a TV, and a private bathroom. It’s a spacious retreat within the haven that is Standing Bear Lodge.

Late Night TV
Can’t sleep? No problem. Just turn on some late night TV and you’ll be drifting off to dreamland in no time.

Sit a Spell
Wonderful weather and a comfortable place to sit makes for an unforgettable part of your vacation.

The Downstairs Bedroom
Like the main floor’s bedroom, the downstairs bedroom includes a log-style queen-size bed and a flat-screen TV.

It’s showtime!
The home-theater area of the game room includes nine cinema-style seats for watching a movie or a big game in the evenings!

The main floor’s bathroom
We’ll supply plenty of clean towels for all five bathrooms, so you don’t have to load up your suitcase with linens from home. In fact, because Standing Bear Lodge has its own washer and dryer, you can pack especially light

Wide-open Space
The open floor plan of the living/dining/kitchen area means everyone can enjoy each other’s company while doing his or her own thing, whether that’s surfing the web, playing a board game, or preparing a snack.

Welcome to Standing Bear Lodge!
The beautiful living area has plenty of space for the kids to spread our with all of their toys and games while the adults chat and enjoy drink by the stone-surround gas fireplace.

Grill your day’s catch
Along with plenty of parking, the outdoor area includes a park-style charcoal grill. Whether it’s burgers or trout you reeled in yourself, it’ll taste even better when cooked outdoors.

Sweet Dreams
The soft whirr and gentle breeze of the ceiling fan is certain to lull you to sleep. In the morning you’ll wake recharged and ready to seize the day.

Cook up a storm!
Standing Bear Lodge is only minutes from a host of restaurants, but you might find it just as relaxing (and more budget-friendly) to cook and eat in the kitchen and dining area.

Set a romantic mood
The golden glow and the shadows of the flickering flames dancing across the wood-planked walls and angled ceiling add to the master suite’s romantic ambiance.

The game room is a perfect hangout
There’s room for everyone to congregate in the downstairs game room, whether it’s to watch a movie, shoot pool, play foosball or air hockey, or stretch out on the sofa with a book.

The Downstairs Bathroom
The bathroom’s combination shower/tub means you can wake yourself up with a refreshing shower in the morning and relax with a leisurely soak at night.

Go, team!
If you’re in town for a competition at nearby Rocky Top Sports World, Standing Bear Lodge can accommodate the entire team and chaperones in its two bunk rooms and three other bedrooms.

Decisions, decisions
Should you play air hockey or foosball? Shoot pool or watch a movie? Those are the tough decisions you’ll face when you stay at Standing Bear Lodge!

Pool Shark
If you don’t know how to play pool, there’s no better place to learn than on the full-size billiard table in the privacy of Standing Bear Lodge’s game room.

Fully-Equipped Kitchen
Stainless-steel appliances, gadgets, cookware, tableware, and a dishwasher to make cleanup a snap: Standing Bear Lodge’s kitchen has it all.

Queen-size bunk beds upstairs
Two of the upstairs bedrooms include queen-size bunk beds, so that up to four people can sleep in each.

The main floor’s bedroom
Two of Standing Bear Lodge’s five bedrooms feature a queen-size bed. What’s more, sofas in the living area and the game room open into queen-size beds, so that up to eighteen people can spend the night.

Sleep in—you’re on vacation!
The queen-size bed is so comfortable and the room is so charming, you might want to laze in bed all morning. And why shouldn’t you?

A sight for sore muscles
There’s nothing like a soak in an outdoor hot tub amid the fresh mountain breeze to rejuvenate your tired muscles after a day on the hiking trails or the ski slopes.

Description for Standing Bear Lodge
Located in Gatlinburg’s quiet Hemlock Hills area, Standing Bear Lodge is less than a mile from Rocky Top Sports World—great news if you’re in town for an athletic event—and the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop. It’s also less than five miles from the attractions of downtown. And there’s plenty to enjoy within the five-bedroom log home itself, from soaking in the outdoor hot tub to playing pool, air hockey, or foosball in the large game room.
Standing Bear Lodge’s five bedrooms, each of which has its own full bathroom, are spread out among the three floors. The downstairs and the main floor each have a bedroom featuring a queen-size bed. The top floor is home to two rooms that sleep four people each in queen-size bunk beds. If you’re staying with a team that’s playing at Rocky Top, these bunk rooms will really come in handy. The fifth bedroom, also upstairs, is the master suite. Along with a king-size bed, it boasts a fireplace (so romantic!). All five bedrooms have cabin-perfect log-style furniture and a flat-panel TV. And if you have additional guests, the sofas in the great room and the game room open into queen-size beds, so that the lodge can sleep up to eighteen people in all.
We have a feeling any kids in your group—and even some grown-ups!—would be more than happy to sleep in the downstairs game room. There’s something to keep everyone entertained for hours. You can shoot pool at the full-size billiard table, or play foosball or air hockey. The game room has a home-theater area as well, with nine cinema-style chairs and a large screen for watching a movie or a big game.
Up one flight, on the main floor, is the great room and kitchen. With its lustrous wood-planked walls, floor, and ceiling and large windows looking out onto the surrounding woodlands, it’s an inviting, open space. Kick back on the sofa and watch TV, curl up in the armchair with a book or a laptop (Standing Bear Lodge has free WiFi), gather by the stacked-stone fireplace for après-ski drinks: You’ll feel wonderfully at home.
The dining table can seat eight, and there’s room for four more at the kitchen island just a few feet away. The kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, gadgets, and tableware you need to cater for a small crowd—all you have to supply are food and an appetite. There’s a park-style charcoal grill outside as well, for cooking up a barbecue or roasting marshmallows under the stars.
Standing Bear Lodge has two spacious decks with rocking chairs. Listen to wrens and warblers while sipping your morning coffee outside in the morning; let the crickets and tree frogs serenade you at night in the moonlight. You can also revel in the fresh mountain air while luxuriating in the outdoor hot tub. There’s no better way to end an action-packed day than with a leisurely soak among steamy bubbles while the breeze rustles through the trees.
And if it’s action you’re looking for, Standing Bear Lodge is the perfect location. It’s close to just about everything the area has to offer. In no more than fifteen minutes you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Guinness World Records Museum, thrill rides, an aquarium, restaurants, mini golf, shops, and a tram that carries you up to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park. Also close by is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which you can explore on foot, by bike, on horseback, or by car. Just slightly farther afield is the neighboring town of Pigeon Forge, whose attractions include Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters, and outlet shops.

Great property
Nice place. Very relaxing.
very quite and relaxing
The cabin was truly beautiful. We had 14 of us in there. Wish we could of stayed a lot longer. We really didnt have any issues with the house . there could have been a couple of larger serving bowl's, feeding us was a little hard using the smaller ones but not a problem, we worked it out.. Thank you for a family vacation we will nerver forget.
