Description for Splashing Sunrise
Splashing Sunrise is unlike any other Smoky Mountain cabin you’ve seen. From the indoor heated pool to the stone-clad garden tubs in the 2 en-suite bathrooms, this is a special abode for a very special vacation.

The spacious in-ground pool is one of Splashing Sunrise’s most striking—and luxurious—features. Broad steps make it easy to access, and a wall of picture windows lets you admire the scenery while swimming laps. After your swim, you can enjoy a snack at the poolside table. The stone walls and wood-planked ceiling make this an especially attractive place to relax, even when you’re not in the pool.

The great room is another attractive, relaxing space. The towering cathedral ceiling adds to the airy ambience, and sunlight streaming through the windows accentuates the luster of the wood-planked walls and floor. Whether you’re watching a movie on the 52” flat-screen TV with satellite channels or reading by the fireplace, you’re sure to feel right at home. The leather sofa, by the way, opens into a queen-size bed, so that Splashing Sunrise can sleep 6 people in all.

Another sure-to-be-popular hangout is the loft’s game room. It’s packed with amenities to guarantee that no one will ever complain about being bored. In addition to a handsome full-size pool table it features a 120-game arcade, a flat-screen TV, and a PlayStation 2.

Splashing Sunrise’s convenient location—it’s less than 10 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway—means you have plenty of restaurants to choose from. Sometimes, though, it’s more fun to dine in. The dining table comfortably seats 6, and there’s room for 3 more at the adjacent breakfast bar. What’s more, there’s a large patio surrounded by towering trees that’s decked out with a table, benches, and a grill for cooking and dining alfresco. Of course, there’s a full indoor kitchen too, with everything from a stainless-steel refrigerator/freezer to a blender, along with cookware and tableware. There’s even a dishwasher, leaving you more time to splash about in the pool.

Both bedrooms are master suites, making Splashing Sunrise able to accommodate 2 couples as comfortably as it can a family. One bedroom is on the main floor, while the 2nd is upstairs, for maximum privacy. Each is handsomely furnished with a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and plenty of storage. And wait till you see the en-suite bathrooms! Both feature a roomy soaking tub as well as a shower; the main floor’s bathroom even has a mini fireplace to add a touch of romance to your bath. There’s a 3rd bathroom too, which will be especially handy if you have guests sleeping on the sofa bed.

Splashing Sunrise’s luxuries aren’t limited to inside the home. One of its decks includes a hot tub. A steamy moonlit soak among its massaging jets of water is a magnificent way to end the day… and begin the evening.

As you gaze out from the deck rockers at the lush trees rustling in the mountain breeze, you can easily forget that Splashing Sunrise is just minutes from so many local attractions. Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, and Alcatraz East Crime Museum are all within a 20-minute drive. So is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a wonderland of waterfalls, wildlife, and wildflowers, and downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, and the tram that transports you above the town to Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area.

Then again, you might want to spend most of your time hanging out with family and friends at Splashing Sunrise itself, swimming in the pool, playing Pictionary by the fireplace, lazing in the hot tub, savoring the serenity and ease. Options abound at Splashing Sunrise. Book your stay today, and get ready to enjoy them!

Reviews for Splashing Sunrise
Lovely, well kept cabin!
The cabin was very nice, clean, and relaxing. The pool was great! The only slight inconvenience was the very small, steep road to the cabin ( we were in a large heavy duty truck) it would not be an issue for a smaller vehicle. Would definitely rent again, but bring a smaller vehicle. ;-)

For starters the cabin was VERY clean and I loved that. It was beautiful! The codes to the pool that was sent to me in an e-mail didn't match the door, after calling I figured that problem out and everyone was very pleasant to talk too. I had a big problem with the pool only being 82 degrees. It was honestly too cold to swim in, and the fountain to the pool never worked which was a little aggravating. We arrived five minutes prior to check-in and maintenance pulled up just as we were fixing to walk in to establish if their was a problem with the cabin. That didn't set off a tone very well or confidence in the cabin, even though it checked out. All in all I DID ENJOY the trip and everyone was very pleasant to deal with. Just a few issues that I feel needs to be worked out. Thanks so much!
