Description for Secret Romance
Secret Romance lets you experience both the serenity of the mountains and the convenience of being close to shops and attractions. The 2-bedroom log cabin is located on a private wooded lot away from busy roads, yet it’s less than a mile from Rocky Top Sports World and less than 15 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg.

The 2-story cabin itself is the ideal marriage of rustic charm and 5-star luxury. The hardwood floors, wood-planked walls, beamed ceilings, and log-style furnishings are just what you’d expect from a mountain hideaway. The same is true of the 2 covered decks, which span the width of the home. As you kick back on the deck rocking chairs, listening to wrens and warblers while the fresh breeze rustles through the trees, you’ll feel at one with nature. You can also revel in the natural beauty while soaking in the upper deck’s hot tub. It’s especially magical at night: Lazing among the steamy bubbles as you gaze up at the star-studded sky is an experience you’ll long treasure.

More luxuries can be found inside Secret Romance. The upstairs game room, for instance, includes a regulation-size pool table, foosball table, and Arcade, along with a flat-panel TV. The upstairs bathroom has a jetted tub with a view nearly as stunning as that of the outdoor hot tub. A private soak in the spa-like bathroom after a day on the go just might be the greatest luxury of all!

Window-lined walls and a towering cathedral ceiling endow both the game room and the main floor’s great room with gorgeous scenery, plenty of sunlight, and an airy, open ambiance. Whether you’re sprawled out on the great room’s sofa watching a movie on the flat-screen TV, playing a game with the kids at the dining table, or enjoying an après-ski drink by the stacked-stone fireplace, you’ll feel as if you’re in a deluxe treehouse on your own private slice of paradise.

Given how many restaurants are nearby, you might have planned to eat most of your meals out. But once you see the beautiful view from the dining table and the fabulously equipped kitchen, you’re bound to change your mind. With its sparkling stainless-steel appliances, gleaming countertops, and wealth of storage, the kitchen might spur you to new culinary heights. Fortunately, Secret Romance has free WiFi, so you can surf the web for recipes you never have time to try at home. And if it’s barbecue you crave, you’ll be happy to know that there’s a charcoal grill right outside the cabin.

Both the main floor’s en-suite master bedroom and the upstairs sleeping area have king-size beds, so you can sprawl out to your heart’s content. Without a door separating it from the game room, the upstairs bedroom will delight the kids. What’s more, the game room’s futon opens into a bed for 2, so that up to 4 people can make the loft their sleeping quarters—every night will feel like a slumber party! The great room’s sofa converts into a queen-size bed as well, so that Secret Romance can sleep 8 people in all.

Though given all there is to see and do nearby, sleep might not be a top priority. Secret Romance is less than a mile from the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and shops. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only a 15-minute drive away; there you can hike among waterfalls, fish for trout (perfect for cooking on the outdoor grill!), go biking or horseback riding… why you could easily spend every day exploring the park! If you did, though, you’d be missing out on the amusements of downtown Gatlinburg, which range from mini golf and thrill rides to an aquarium and the Guinness World Records Museum.

Secret Romance is proof that sometimes you really can have it all. See for yourself: book your stay today—before someone else beats you to it!

Reviews for Secret Romance
Great place, clean, and convenient location!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The cabin was clean and the hot tub was clean and great! The power went out shortly after we arrived due to weather conditions and we called the contact number and they reported it to the power company right away. We were only without power for an hour or so. The couch funk that other people mentioned was not noticeable to our group so that was good. Our only negatives were blankets, seating, and outside chairs. There were no blankets at all to lounge with so if you were cold at night you had to get in bed or use your comforter or spare sheets. The cabin says it sleeps 8 but there is only one couch that holds two people comfortably in the living room. Definitely need more seating. And there is plenty of room for the owners to add another couch. There were only two rockers on the outside decks which was aggrevating cause we liked sitting out in the morning drinking our coffee. Other than those three things we loved our stay and would rent again! Everything was close by and convenient but it was secluded enough to give privacy and feel like we were in the woods for sure! Can’t wait to go back!

Charming, nicely secluded
This place was a sweet, charming little cottage for a girls weekend getaway, it suited 5 of us perfectly. There only a few little annoyances like the bottom front of the couch is leather and had a large ripped flap in it, the couch was also a little funky smelling, a rocking chair with the rails and seat coming out and a fair amount of broken blinds that just looked aesthetically not pleasing. The cabin smelled great and was very clean on arrival. Beware the driveway can tricky for large trucks and the water pressure is nonexistant but honestly i would stay here again, it was beautiful, more secluded than other cabins I've stayed in previously. Only little suggestion would be a mini fridge upstairs in the loft and few more rocking chairs on each level. Hotub was great for the end of each day!

Clean, inviting and everything worked
Very comfortable for a Family if 6. Our Kids are between 7-15 years old. Plenty of space to get a private moment for a small cabin. Large, comfortable beds and a well supplied and clean kitchen. Kids loved the pool table, foosball and arcade machine. Great kitchen table for meal time talks. Great hot tub for de-stressing. Nice distance from Gatlinburg which was easy to get to but far enough to enjoy the quiet woods.  Only negatives were: the futon bed. My 7 and 9 year old didn’t mind it but it was pretty noisy, small and uncomfortable for anyone except a child. Only one sofa so limited space. if you want to watch a movie with the family the kids will have to sit on your lap. Overall a great place to stay

Great relaxing getaway!
The cabin was cozy and just what we needed to relax for my birthday weekend. My kiddos adored the arcade game upstairs and I loved taking long baths in the giant tub after they were in bed! Overall it was the perfect vacation spot. The mountains are so inspiring and I’m head over heels in love with Gatlinburg.
