Reviews for Mountain Perch
This cabin is the best so far that I have stayed in. I will definitely be coming back
We had a wonderful time in this cabin. It was PERFECT for a family of 4. Waking up to the view every morning was breathtaking. There were ladybugs everywhere, which I didn’t mind cause they are a sign of good luck. It’s a close drive to downtown Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains National Park, which is GORGEOUS. This house is absolutely stunning in my eyes. The garden tub took a while to fill up because the water pressure wasn’t that strong BUT the water stayed hot and the tub was so nice to relax in. The hot tub is in a perfect location to view the mountains and feel a bit of privacy while relaxing in it. My teenage boys loved the pool table and the house as a whole. My husband and I just enjoyed the family time and the amazing scenery, I can’t express enough how beautiful it was being there. The kitchen had all the appliances needed to make a nice meal, there’s a grocery store near by to stock your kitchen. I did have an issue using the Kerig that was there but they took it to fix of replace, but we got coffee and filters to use the standard coffee maker for the remainder of our stay, I was happy they had both. All in all it was perfect staying in this home. 100% would recommend.
Great location and great views
We will be back
Perfect for my family!
We enjoyed the view from the family room windows and the hot tub.
A family pool tournament and games at the dining table made for fun each evening. We have stayed at Mountain Perch before and decided to return because of the great way it fit our family. It’s close to Gatlinburg and worked well as a hub for our hiking to waterfalls in the area. We still have a lot to see around the area and wouldn’t be surprised if the kids requested we return to Mountain Perch. We did get to see some local wildlife (mother bear and large cubs as well as a brown bear).
Charming cabin with amazing view!
This was our family's first time renting a cabin and we are so happy we did! The first impression upon walking in the door was that it was very clean. The wall of windows overlooking the mountains draws your attention immediately and we spent a lot of time on the deck just gazing at the Smokies! Our family settled in nicely, plenty of room for our 3 teenagers and my husband and myself. Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and dish needed to make meal prep easy and less expensive than eating out each night. Washer and dryer were a big help too! The view was breathtaking and the hot tub was a plus! We even had a momma bear and 3 cubs come visit us one evening. Truly a sight to see! With 2 1/2 bathrooms we had no problem getting ready each morning for our daily adventures. The area is quiet and well maintained, the neighborhood is just a few short minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, which is perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourists and experience the mountain peacefulness :) We arrived after the normal check-in time but the property managers gave us a call while we were en route to let us know where to pick up the keys. The whole process was easy and wonderful! We will recommend this cabin to all our friends and family and if we ever make it back down to Tennessee we will stay here again for sure!
