Description for Moonlit Hideaway
If it’s spectacular views you want, you’ve come to the right place. Perched among the Smokies, with 2 huge decks and a screened-in porch, Moonlit Hideaway offers plenty of opportunity to admire the majestic mountains and the lush woodlands. However, the 2-bedroom log cabin has plenty more to offer besides views (including a hot tub and a game room packed with entertainment options).

Making up most of the downstairs, the game room has something for everyone. There’s a full-size pool table and an arcade with more than 100 games. Bluetooth speakers that connect to your personal music library will provide a soundtrack for the fun. If you’d rather watch your favorite programs, you’ll appreciate the 55” flat-screen TV with surround sound. And bring your PlayStation games; Moonlit Hideaway has a PlayStation 3.

Also downstairs is one of Moonlit Hideaway’s 2 en-suite bedrooms. Both bedrooms include a king-size bed, a TV, and a private bathroom. The master suite, one flight up on the main floor, has an added perk: a roomy garden tub in its bathroom.

The great room makes up the rest of the main floor. Moonlit Hideaway was recently refurbished under new ownership, and its upgrades are beautifully apparent here. Comfortable leather seating makes the great room a relaxing space to watch TV, surf the web via the free WiFi, read, or play a game by the golden glow of the fireplace. The sofa converts to a bed for 2, enabling the cabin to sleep up to 6 people in all. A wall of picture windows lets you gaze out at the mountains while you chat in the living area or gather for a meal in the dining area. The live-edge wood dining table seats 4, in handsome log-style chairs. Another 2 guests can belly up to the breakfast bar.

The spacious screened-in porch has a dining table as well. Here you can enjoy the fresh air of the outdoors while keeping cool in the shade and free from pesky flying insects. Another option is the picnic table in Moonlit Hideaway’s side yard. Eating out there is especially enchanting in autumn, when the leaves of the surrounding trees are a kaleidoscope of brilliant crimson and gold.

You can cook outside too, on the cabin’s charcoal grill. But rest assured that Moonlit Hideaway has a fully equipped kitchen as well. Appliances, cookware, tableware, counter space: The kitchen has it all. There’s even a dishwasher—and speaking of conveniences, the cabin has its own washer and dryer too.

If you think all that’s pretty fabulous, wait until you head out to Moonlit Hideaway’s 2 huge decks. Kick back on a rocker to watch the morning mist rise over the mountains; settle back on the deck swing with your special someone to count the stars at night. The best vantage point, however, may be the lower deck’s hot tub. The combination of the massaging jets of water, the breeze rustling through the trees, and the singing of wrens during the day and whip-poor-wills at night is magical.

There’s so much to enjoy at Moonlit Hideaway, you could happily spend your entire stay on the premises. But there’s, even more, to see and do just minutes away. In less than 10 minutes you can be at Walden's Creek Stables, riding horses or fishing in its stocked pond. Dollywood, The Island, and Two mountain coasters are also less than 10 minutes away. Drive just a few minutes more and you’ll be at Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to dinner theaters, go-kart tracks, the Titanic Museum, mini golf, and so much more.

Moonlit Hideaway is a truly special cabin for a truly special vacation. Don’t miss out; book your stay today.

Cabin was great and secluded, was everything we wanted!

Great location and view!
This is a clean, lovely cabin with a perfect layout and amazing view!!! We enjoyed all aspects of this cabin (hot tub, indoor and outdoor decks, fire pit, grill, quiet neighborhood, peaceful strolls on the winding roads, fireplace, arcade, sunrises and sunsets, etc) I would definitely recommend this rental location!

Incredible
Everything we wanted and more. It is telling that we wanted to maximize our time at home when there are so many fun things to do in the area. Comfortable, clean, beautiful views. Would love to go again in the future.

We loved the cabin!
We loved the cabin. I made a review prior to this one and forgot a few things. Let me just say how CLEAN this cabin was. The views of the mountains are spectacular and the outdoor furniture is actually quite comfortable. The fully and I mean fully stocked kitchen was impressive to say the least. A few minor negatives were the sizes of the TVs on the main floor. Gotta spring for some bigger screens. Lastly the bed in the main bedroom. Oh man I had a hard time jumping into it. It’s really high off the ground, could’ve used a step stool ;) And the mattress was to hard for OUR liking and what we’re used to at home. We had a wonderful relaxing time at this beautiful cabin (loved the decor) and that’s all that matters. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy it!

View, Amenities, Privacy; This property has it all!
My wife and I stayed here for six nights in Sept 2018. Had planned for four nights, but extended our stay. We are senior citizens, well travelled. View, privacy, amenities, natural beauty, recreational opportunities for all ages. Very close to Pigeon Forge which is NOT peaceful, but , if you have kids, they will probably like several of the activities. We went to an Oak Ridge Boys concert which was fun for us and there are several good restaurants fir all ages ( frankly, we did takeouts). Only one warning... unless you love crowds and junk of all descriptions, stay away from Gatlinburg. The access road was so crowded, we gave up and turned around. Crazy. If you see Pigeon Forge, no need to go to Gatlinburg.
