Description for Moonlight Lodge
Seeking a Smoky Mountain cabin large enough to accommodate a family reunion, a church retreat, or a wedding party? Your search is over. With eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms, Moonlight Lodge can sleep as many as 40 people. What’s more, it’s just a 10-minute drive to the attractions-packed Pigeon Forge Parkway.

Five of the spacious bedrooms qualify as masters. Each has a log-frame king-size bed, a futon that opens into another bed for two (great for parents who want to be in the same room as their little ones), and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. One of these bedrooms is especially luxurious: Not only does it open directly onto the deck that houses the hot tub, but its en-suite bathroom includes a jetted tub.

Two of Moonlight Lodge’s other bedrooms feature queen-size bunk beds. With a pair of queen-size bunk beds, the eighth bedroom can sleep eight people. The kids will love making this space their headquarters: Every night will be a slumber party! Each of these bedrooms has a flat-screen TV as well.

Teens in your group might want to stake their claim to the upstairs media/game room. The vaulted beamed ceiling makes the space feel even larger than it is. The extra-wide flat-screen TV is ideal for movie night, and the well-cushioned sofa opens into yet another bed for two. When you’re not watching TV in here, you can shoot pool or play endless games of foosball. Between games, step right out onto the balcony and revel in the crisp mountain breezes.

Moonlight Lodge’s downstairs great room has yet another impressive TV, below which is a stone-surround fireplace. On brisk winter evenings the fireplace bathes the luminous wood-planked walls, floor, and ceiling in a welcoming golden glow. Gather around for après-ski drinks, a game of charades, or lively conversation—convivial moments like these are often the best part of vacationing with your nearest and dearest. The room’s leather couches are comfortable spots for curling up with a book or stretching out with your tablet to surf the web via the free Wi-Fi.

The great room’s dining area includes two wooden tables and a third, smaller one, so that more than two dozen people can sit down for a meal at once. And the kitchen has everything you need to cater for a crowd, including two oven/stoves, two refrigerators, two microwaves, and two dishwashers. The savvy layout, with generous counter space and elbow room, allows for multiple chefs to work their culinary magic at the same time. Moonlight Lodge has a charcoal grill outside as well, so you can satisfy any cravings for barbecue.

When you arrive at Moonlight Lodge, you’ll find the beds impeccably made up, plenty of fresh towels for all eight bathrooms, and extra bedding ready and waiting—no need to bring your own. In fact, because the cabin has two washers and two dryers, you can pack light. Be sure to pack your swimsuit if you’re visiting in the summer, though: The lodge is located in the Black Bear Ridge Resort, which has an outdoor pool.

Then again, given how much there is to see and do nearby, you might not find time to head to the pool. The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster (the country’s longest such coaster), the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, Dollywood, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Parrot Mountain and Gardens are among the must-visit attractions within a 20-minute drive.

Moonlight Lodge offers something for everyone in your group: a convenient location, relaxing amenities, fun and games, and best of all, the chance to make memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t miss out; book your stay today!

Reviews for Moonlight Lodge
Great Property
This property accommodated my family of 18 well with room to spare. The location of the cabin was great and the cabin was very clean. We were lucky to have great weather so we were able to get out and about, but there was plenty to do inside the cabin also! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because both downstairs toilets had to be repaired once we arrived(minor 3 minute repair).

Large Family Cabin in Pigeon Forge
The Hidden Springs Lodge was in a great location. It's minutes from Dollywood and just a few miles from all the Pigeon Forge attractions. The cabin is large which would be great for a big family or multi-family gathering. There were just four of us so we had more than enough room. Overall, for a rental property, it's in good shape. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but both looked nice. I would recommend this property to others that wanted a quiet and relaxing vacation spot in the area.
