Description for High Hopes 2
As you laze on the deck of High Hopes 2, you’ll be mesmerized by the natural splendor surrounding you: The majestic Smoky Mountains appearing through the morning mists, a twinkling canopy of stars above you at night. Wrens and warblers putting on a concert throughout the day, whip-poor-wills and crickets singing you an evening lullaby. And always the pine-scented kiss of the mountain breezes. As you relish the sights and sounds, you might easily forget that the 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom log cabin is less than 10 minutes from the excitement of downtown Gatlinburg.

The deck is furnished with chairs and tables so that you can savor your meals alfresco. You can cook outside too, on High Hopes 2’s grill. If you reel in trout from a nearby stream, cook it out here for a true Smoky Mountain feast. Perhaps the best way to delight in the stunning views, however, is while soaking in the deck’s hot tub. No matter how tired your muscles are after a day of hiking, biking, skiing, or rafting, the massaging jets of steamy water will work their magic and have you ready to tackle the next day’s adventures.

High Hopes 2 has an indoor jetted tub as well, in its loft. A picture window provides you with a bird’s-eye view of the woods while you soak. Also upstairs is a game room with a pool table and a TV. There’s even a wet bar up here. No need to head to town for an evening’s entertainment; the loft has everything you could possibly want.

The great room makes up much of the main floor. The spacious sectional sofa can seat a small crowd—and it opens into a bed for 2, enabling High Hopes 2 to sleep up to 4 people. The gas fireplace will add to the cozy vibe in winter, while the ceiling fan is perfect for spring and summer days when it’s not quite warm enough to put on the central air-conditioning. Watch a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable, play a game with the kids, catch up on your reading… in other words, make yourself at home.

On days when the weather’s not ideal for eating out on the deck, you can sit down at the great room’s dining table, which seats 4. The kitchen’s equipped with a full array of appliances, cookware, and tableware, so you can cook up a storm… or heat up leftovers from the previous night’s restaurant meal.

The en-suite bedroom is here on the main floor as well. The king-size bed all but guarantees sweet dreams. In addition to the full primary bathroom, you’ll find a 2nd bathroom upstairs—especially convenient if you’re vacationing with the kids. Also convenient: the cabin’s washer and dryer.

When it comes to convenience, though, it’s tough to top High Hopes 2’s proximity to the area’s attractions. In less than 10 minutes you can drive to the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an 8-mile trail of galleries, shops, and studios. Just as close is downtown Gatlinburg, home to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre, distilleries, mountain coasters and other thrill rides, mini golf, arcades, and much more. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which you can explore on foot, bike, or horseback or by car, is only 10 minutes away, and in less than a half-hour you can drive to Pigeon Forge, whose myriad attractions include Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters, go-kart tracks, and too many other to list here. Just bear in mind that if you visit in winter, vehicles with 4-wheel drive or tire chains are strongly recommended.

If you’re hoping to make wonderful memories that will last a lifetime, High Hopes 2 is the Gatlinburg cabin for you. Don’t miss out; book your stay today!

Reviews for High Hopes 2
Everything was very clean. We loved the view of the mountains from the balcony. The location is close to downtown Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. We loved the fireplace and Jacuzzis. I wish that there were hooks on the bathroom doors to hang my clothes. We also like the fact that everything was so private. We just put our code in and walked into our hideaway.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We had a great time in the hot tub and sight seeing around the town! The bed was extremely comfortable and the view from the balcony was amazing! Cant wait to go back!

Great Stay!
Overall we loved the cabin and our stay! The view was great, it was clean and cozy. The hot tub temperature was too hot and we couldn't find a thermostat to adjust it. The DSL only worked 2 times out of the 4 nights we stayed because it shares a modem with the cabin next to it..

High Hopes 2
The cabin was perfect. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The entire experience was wonderful. The views were perfect. The amenities in the cabin were just as advertised. If there were anything to find fault with it would be the statement that this cabin has wifi internet. Twice in 5 days we had a brief signal that was 1-2 bars in strength. There shouldn't be an advertisement for wifi at this cabin until the owner actually gets a modem. Aside from the internet, you couldn't hope for a better cabin. Very clean and decorated. The bed is very soft and the kitchen has everything needed. The decks are nice and the hot tub and jacuzzi were perfect. Good television choices and prime location for privacy, as well as access to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.Plenty of towels and other household items. Will definitely stay again and book with Mountain Rentals. Thanks for an amazing vacation!

First time renters
We had a wonderful time in gatlinburg and our stay in High Hopes 2 was everything we could have hoped for. The view was mesmerizing. It was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for privacy close to town this is the place. My only complaint would be someone needs to take a few extra minutes and knock down some of the spider webs but thats just me..
