A multipurpose space
The breakfast bar is a handy spot for setting up your laptop to take advantage of the free WiFi. And when you’re not eating at the dining table, you can set up your Monopoly board for a nightlong tournament.

The good life
The great room includes three plush couches so that everyone can gather to watch TV, enjoy après-ski drinks by the fireplace, or simply marvel at the view outside the picture windows.

Top of the world
The two upstairs master suites include doors that open directly onto the upper balcony. You can slip outside for a romantic nightcap under the stars before snuggling under the covers of the king-size bed.

Six bathrooms—and a powder room
As well as six full bathrooms, Having a Blast includes a convenient half-bath. And speaking of convenient, the cabin has its own washer and dryer as well.

Ready and waiting
When you arrive at Having a Blast, you’ll find the beds perfectly made up, extra bedding ready and waiting, and plenty of clean towels for all six and a half bathrooms.

Rock on
Bring a beverage out onto a deck, kick back in a rocker, and watch falcons and eagles soar above the mountains as the crisp breeze rustles through the trees. Relaxation is practically guaranteed.

The kitchen is always open
One of the benefits of staying in a cabin is having access to a fully equipped kitchen whenever you like. If you have a craving for ice cream at midnight or eggs at five in the morning, you can dig right in

Alfresco dining
When the views are this outstanding, you want to make the most of them. That’s why Having a Blast has picnic benches on its deck, as well as a charcoal grill, so that you can cook and eat outdoors.

Laze by the fireplace
Kick back in the rocker beside the fireplace with a good book and listen to the whip-poor-wills serenade the moon—what a perfect way to end the day!

The beauty of the details
The hand-carved log frames of the king-size beds are worthy of a closer look. They accentuate the charm of the stacked-stone fireplaces and wood-planked walls, floors, and ceilings.

A dream location
Not only does Having a Blast look out over woodlands toward the Smokies, but it’s also just fifteen minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to the Titanic Museum, WonderWorks, dinner theaters, and more.

That’s right—another master suite
Thanks to its five master suites, Having a Blast is ideal for a family reunion, a church retreat, an off-site office gathering, or a wedding party.

Rack ‘em up
The game room includes a full-size pool table. Just don’t let the gorgeous scenery on the other side of the picture windows distract you from your shot.

A two-person steam shower
For a true spa-like experience, luxuriate in the sixth bathroom’s two-person steam shower, which includes a built-in radio and twenty-four massaging jets of water. You may never want to leave!

Fun and games downstairs
With a second fireplace, another large flat-screen TV, pool and card tables, a multi game arcade, and comfortable seating, the downstairs game room rivals the great room as a popular hangout spot.

What a view to wake up to
There’s nothing like waking up to a panorama of woods, mountains, and seemingly endless skies. And because the sleeping loft opens onto the upper deck, you can head outside as soon as you’re awake.

A sight for sore muscles
After a day of hiking or horseback riding—or any other day, actually!—a soak in your private jetted tub will feel so pampering.

Best seats in the house
The home theater’s plush couches are so comfortable, you may want to sprawl out here and read—or nap—after the movie has ended.

Five-star amenities
Having a Blast’s bathrooms are outfitted to the same high standard as the rest of the lodge.

Dinner for a crowd
Thanks to the oversize table and the adjacent breakfast bar, the dining area can seat a crowd.

A complete suite
Along with the bunk beds and air hockey, the loft includes two desks, plus a leather couch for hanging out.

The second upstairs master bedroom
The windows of the extra-high walls enable you to bask in the moonlight while you laze in the king-size bed.

It’s showtime
As if the 73” HDTV weren’t enticing enough, the downstairs home theater includes surround-sound, 3-D capabilities, a Blu-ray player, a library of DVDs, and even a wet bar.

Luxe life
In addition to a jetted tub, each master bathroom includes a shower, a sink with a granite countertop, and plenty of storage.

The gang’s all here
Having a Blast includes both large spaces where everyone can hang out together and smaller areas where you can retreat for some quiet time. Even if you have a full house, you won’t feel as if you’re all on top of one another.

Get cooking
Having a Blast’s kitchen is fully equipped with stainless-steel appliances, gadgets and gizmos, pots, pans, tableware, and granite counters. The open layout makes it easy for several chefs to cook at once.

The accessible main-floor suite
Located on the main floor, this master suite includes a wheelchair-accessible bathroom along with a king-size bed.

Every bedroom is a suite
Each of the five master suites, including this one, boasts a king-size bed, a fireplace, a flat-screen TV with a DVD and a VCR, and a private bathroom complete with both a shower and a Jacuzzi.

The more the merrier
In addition to the five bedrooms and the sleeping loft, Having a Blast includes three queen-size sleeper sofas. The kids will beg to be allowed to use the one in the game room: Who wouldn’t want to have an arcade in their sleeping quarters?

Early to bed, late to rise
The suites are so luxuriously outfitted, you may want to turn in early and sleep late. And why not—you’re on vacation, after all!

Dine in style
With its luminous wood-planked floors, its beamed ceilings, and its stunning views, the dining area of Having a Blast will have you eager to eat in rather than head out to one of the many nearby restaurants.

The wheelchair-accessible bathroom
The shower and tub of this en-suite bathroom include grab bars, making it well suited for anyone with mobility or balance issues.

Nature’s splendor
Head out to the balcony first thing in the morning to watch the mist lift from the mountains; linger outside late at night to revel in the hooting of the owls amid the silvery moonlight.

Queen-size bunk beds—and more—in the loft
While not technically a bedroom, the loft can sleep four people in its queen-size bunk beds. The loft is also home to an air-hockey table; whoever sleeps here will have first dibs.

A hot tub with a view
From the hot tub on the lower deck you can watch the sun set over Bluff Mountain while luxuriating among massaging jets of steamy water. What a treat for the senses!

Take your time
Having a bathroom for each bedroom means you can treat yourself to an extra-lengthy soak in the Jacuzzi without a line forming on the other side of the door.

A haven within a retreat
With a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, a fireplace, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub, each master suite is an oasis in and of itself.

Description for Having a Blast
At Having a Blast, up to twenty people can relish both the bucolic beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the luxurious amenities of a five-star hotel. The three-story log lodge, which looks out onto Bluff and Cove Mountains, includes five master suites with private Jacuzzis and fireplaces, a home theater, a pool table, Netflix, free WiFi, and much more.
Let’s start our tour of Having a Blast with the great room. Located on the wheelchair-accessible main floor, this space is large enough to accommodate three sofas. The double-height ceiling keeps the ambience open and airy, while the fireplace makes the room especially inviting on brisk winter evenings. When you’re not gazing out the windows at the mountains, you can watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. The room includes a library of books and games, plus a mini hand-carved table and chairs where little ones can play.
The dining area is spacious as well. Between the long table and the adjacent breakfast bar, the room seats a small crowd. The kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel appliances, cookware, tableware, and plenty of granite counter space so that you can easily host a holiday feast. You can cook and dine outdoors as well: The main level’s rear deck is outfitted with a grill and picnic tables.
The game room makes up much of the downstairs. When you’re not shooting pool at the billiard table, you can play cards at the poker table, challenge yourself at the sixty-game arcade, or stretch out on the couch and listen to your favorite tunes on the satellite radio.
Also downstairs is the home theater. Plush sofas ensure that your movie-watching experience is a comfortable one. The 73” HDTV with surround-sound accommodates 3-D, so if you have 3-D movies and glasses, bring them along. The room also has a Blu-ray player, a library of movies, and Netflix. There’s even a wet bar for making popcorn or storing drinks.
The five master suites are spread out among the three stories. Each bedroom includes a king-size bed with a hand-carved log frame, a stone-surround fireplace, a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and a VCR, and a private bathroom. As if that weren’t luxurious enough, every en-suite bathroom boasts a jetted tub along with a shower and a large vanity with a granite counter and plenty of storage. One of the two suites on the main floor is wheelchair-friendly, with grip bars in the bathroom. And the two suites on the top floor open directly onto the front balcony, with views of Cove Mountain. In addition, three of the cabin’s sofas open into queen-size beds.
Upstairs includes a sleeping loft with queen-size bunk beds that can accommodate four people. One advantage of sleeping here is that the loft includes an air-hockey table. Another is that it opens onto the upper rear deck with rockers. These might be the best perches for admiring the star-studded night sky… except perhaps for the hot tub on the lower deck. Luxuriating among steamy bubbles while owls hoot and crickets chirp will soothe both body and soul. So will a steam shower in the sixth bathroom: You and your special someone can both sit among the twenty-four massaging jets of water while listening to the built-in radio… talk about pampering!
Given all these luxuries, you might want to spend your entire vacation in the cabin. But then you’d be missing out on the many nearby attractions. The waterfalls, wildlife, and wildflowers of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are less than twenty minutes away, while the rides and shows of Dollywood are just twenty-five minutes from the cabin. Also, close by are the Titanic Museum, WonderWorks, dinner theaters, shops, restaurants…
One thing is for sure: When you stay at Having a Blast, you’ll, well, have a blast. So book your stay today, before someone else beats you to it!

Reviews for Having a Blast
Best Family Cabin Ever
Having A Blast was perfect for all 14 of us. Everyone had their own suites and we ended up with an extra bedroom because the kids slept in the Theater room. Couldn't get them out of it. Great location and a killer view, especially at night. Next time in the area for a UGA/UT game we will rent it again. Go Dogs
Very clean and nice!
It as very clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room. we will be contacting you in the early Fall for the coming year
Beautiful Place to Stay
We stayed with a church group of 17 adults for 3 nights. The cabin had plenty of room and lots of fun amenities and stocked well. The only con is it could use more towels for such a large cabin because we had to wash two nights. Will definitely stay here again and maybe spend more time at the cabin. It was a convenient location and wasn't too far up the mountain for travel which is important for us since we were in a church bus.
Beautiful Cabin
It was 1 of the most beautiful cabins that
I've stayed in & loved the location. My hot tub didn’t get hot.
Looking to go back sometime in 2018.
The views were awesome and loved the three decks. House was great size for 4 families.
Wonderful views and great location. Hot tub, pool table, movie room, and arcade game kept all the boys occupied for 6 days and nights. I would go back again.
