Something for everyone
With a private playground for the kids, a hot tub for the grown-ups, two huge enclosed porches, lovely vistas, and restaurants and attractions just minutes away, Emory House is the home away from home you’ve always dreamed of

Slumber party central
Each set of bunk beds has a trundle bed, so that this bedroom can sleep up to six people. Let the kids make this their space; every night will feel like a sleepover party.

Another king-size bed
The table lamps flanking the king-size bed allow one person to stay up reading while the other goes to sleep—a handy and thoughtful touch.

Seven full bathrooms in all
Most of the eight bedrooms have their own private bathroom. This en-suite bathroom has a classic claw-foot tub with a shower.

Room to play
There’s plenty of carpeted floor space for the kids to sprawl out with their games and toys.

Eight bedrooms to choose from
Emory House sleeps twenty-five people in all, and the 8 bedrooms offer a variety of configurations, perfect for large groups. This en-suite bedroom includes a luxurious king-size bed.

One of two screened-in porches
When you stay at Emory House, you can enjoy the wooded views and the mountain breezes from two large screened-in porches, one of which includes a spacious hot tub.

Bathroom number 7
Because Emory House has a whopping 7 bathrooms, you won’t have to worry about a line forming outside the door if you decide to indulge in an extra-long shower.

Family fun time
Whether you’re watching a movie on the large flat-screen TV or playing Uno at the table, you can relax and enjoy quality time in the living area—and isn’t that what a family vacation is all about?

Comfort and style
Like the rest of Emory House, the seven bathrooms are outfitted with equal emphasis on comfort, convenience, and rustic refinement.

And so to bed
After a fun-filled day exploring Dollywood or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, stretching out under the covers and watching your favorite late-night show will feel so relaxing.

Perfect for a family reunion
The variety of sleeping arrangements among the eight bedrooms—some are ideal for couples, while others can accommodate parents and their kids—makes Emory House a great choice for your next family reunion.

Kitchen convenience
Even if you eat all your meals out at the many restaurants just minutes away, you’ll appreciate having a fully equipped kitchen at hand for keeping beverages cold and for whipping up snacks.

The kids will love the private playground
Emory House has its own fenced-in playground, with an old-fashioned merry-go-round, a jungle gym, a ten-foot slide, and rubber mulch to keep boo-boos to a minimum.

Three’s company
In addition to a king-size bed, this downstairs suite has a daybed, making it a great choice for any parents in your group who have a little one.

Twin beds in the second en-suite
This en-suite bedroom is furnished with a pair of twin beds. Like all the other bedrooms, it has its own TV and a ceiling fan.

And to all a good night
Being well rested is key to making the most of your vacation. Emory House's comfortable, charming bedrooms make it easy to catch up on your sleep.

Nature’s lullaby
Stretch out in the seventh bedroom’s king-size bed and let the chirruping of tree frogs and crickets in the surrounding woodlands serenade you to sleep.

An easy-access bathroom
This bathroom has a low-threshold shower with a large built-in seat as well as a portable shower chair and grab bars, making it especially convenient for anyone with mobility issues.

The loft sleeps another six people
Furnished with a king, a queen, and two twin beds, the spacious loft bedroom can host a family in and of itself.

Another en-suite bathroom
Like the other bathrooms, the upstairs en-suite has a combination shower/tub.

Sit or soak
When you’re not admiring the scenery from the hot tub on the lower screened-in porch, you can watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. There are also plenty of chairs for kicking back beneath the ceiling fan.

The eighth bedroom also has a king-size bed
Go ahead, sleep late—you are on vacation, after all!

The downstairs den
In addition to the main floor’s living area, Emory House has an equally well furnished den downstairs. There’s even a wet bar with a mini fridge and a microwave.

What a location!
As you listen to the birds singing in the trees and revel in the crisp mountain air, you can easily forget that Emory House is less than two miles from Dollywood and the other popular attractions of Pigeon Forge.

In the swing
Among the delights of the main level’s screened-in porch are a bench swing and rocking chairs.

Shower in the morning, soak at night
Start your day with a refreshing shower, then end it with a relaxing bath in the tub.

Spread out and relax
Prop yourself up against the pillows of the king-size bed and read, watch TV, surf the web (Emory House has free WiFi), or simply let the gentle breeze of the ceiling fan lull you to sleep.

Description for Emory House
Talk about family friendly: Emory House will delight kids and adults alike. Less than ten minutes from Dollywood, the house has its own mini playground, a hot tub, and two huge screened-in porches, each of which can accommodate a crowd. In fact, with eight bedrooms that can sleep up to twenty-three people, Emory House is ideal for your next reunion, multifamily vacation, or other sizable gathering.
six of the eight bedrooms have a king size bed! Most of the eight bedrooms have their own private bathroom, and all of them include a TV and a ceiling fan to help lull you to sleep. Six bedrooms feature a king-size bed, making them tailor-made for couples.
A fifth bedroom has a daybed in addition to a king-size bed, so that it’s well suited for a couple with a young child. The loft bedroom has a king-size bed too, along with a queen-size bed and two twin beds, enabling it to accommodate an entire family of six. Another bedroom also sleeps six, in a pair of bunk beds with trundles. The kids in your group can make this their quarters—every night will seem like a slumber party.
The eighth bedroom features a pair of twin beds and an en-suite bathroom that has been modified for those with mobility issues; it includes a low-threshold shower with a large built-in seat, grab bars, and a portable shower chair. In fact, both the main level and the lower level are wheelchair accessible from outside, and along the back of the house is a wheelchair-accessible balcony that’s 25’ long and 5.5’ deep.
As befits a home that can sleep twenty-five, Emory House has two large living areas. The main floor’s open-plan living/dining/kitchen space includes two ample leather couches, perfect for watching a favorite movie on the flat-screen TV. Its two tables can easily seat ten people; their barrel chairs are so comfortable, once you sit down you may never want to get back up.
Another comfortable gathering space is the downstairs den. Here you’ll find another leather couch to sprawl out on and another flat-screen TV, along with inviting armchairs and a card table. The den has its own wet bar, complete with a mini fridge and a microwave, so you don’t have to interrupt your poker game or Monopoly marathon to run upstairs for drinks and snacks.
Given how many restaurants are just a short drive away—choose from Mexican, Chinese, Cuban, Italian, seafood, steak, pizza, and more—you probably won’t be eating in much. But when you do, you’ll have a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal, as well as a charcoal grill outside.
And speaking of outside, wait till you see Emory House’s two porches. Each is screened in so that you can enjoy the woodland views and the crisp mountain breeze without being pestered by flying insects. Both decks have a wealth of chairs, so everyone can hang out together, and ceiling fans to keep you cool on even hot summer afternoons. The main level’s porch includes a table for playing games or setting up a buffet in time to watch the sunset; the lower porch houses a hot tub where you can soothe your weary muscles at the end of an action-packed day.
For the kids, Emory House has a special treat: a private playground. The fenced-in space includes an old-fashioned merry-go-round, a jungle gym, and a ten-foot slide. And parents, you can rest easy: The ground is covered with rubber mulch for safe landings.
If you can tear the little ones away from the playground, you’ll find plenty more to do just a few minutes away. In less than ten minutes you can drive to Dollywood, Splash Country, and Parrot Mountain and Gardens. Only a few minutes farther are the Titanic Museum, WonderWorks, a huge outlet mall, and numerous dinner theaters. Even the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a true must-visit, is less than a half-hour away.
Many getaways promise something for everyone. Emory House actually delivers. So book your stay today… before someone else beats you to it!

Reviews for Emory House
Would definitely stay again!
Our party of 14 (all adults) enjoyed staying at the Emory House. There was plenty of room and also accommodations for the handicap that were in our party. We all enjoyed the big screened in porch with the swing and plenty of seating places. We also loved the location because it was so easy to get to all the places that we went too. Would definitely stay at the Emory House again.

Location
Beautiful nice home quiet place to stay it was just the location of the home
Christmastime Fun
My family had a great time at Emory House this weekend. It is a great location not too high up and close to everything. The house was nice lots of bedrooms, some of the beds were not so comfy like the twin beds and bunks and the living room is kinda small, but other than that this place is great. Plenty of room to park, the check-in/out process is so easy. We had a great time spending a few days together. It snowed while were were there and everything was simply beautiful! Thanks for sharing your home with us we look forward to staying here again next year!
