Description for Eagles Nest II
A 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom chalet near Ski Mountain, Eagles Nest II is as well suited for 2 couples in town for a ski weekend as it is for a family of 6 looking forward to a weeklong vacation of amusement parks and arcades. It packs convenience, comfort, and beautiful vistas into one delightful package.

The wraparound deck of Eagles Nest II provides panoramic views of the dense woodlands surrounding the cabin. Start your day in a rocking chair listening to wrens and warblers as the mountain breeze rustles through the leafy trees; end the evening with a moonlit soak in the deck’s hot tub as whip-poor-wills trill a lullaby. The setting is so serene, so bucolic, that you’ll easily forget that the cabin is less than 3 miles from the excitement of downtown Gatlinburg.

The great room makes up much of the main floor. Large windows let in plenty of sunshine and allow you to look out among the old-growth trees. The towering cathedral ceiling combined with the plush seating makes this a restful space in which to watch a movie on the flat-screen TV, sip après-ski drinks by the fireplace, or nestle in an armchair with a stack of magazines.

The dining table seats 6 with ease—you won’t have to worry about jabbing each other’s elbows here. Should you have guests over, 2 more people can sit at the breakfast bar right beside the table. The breakfast bar doubles as additional kitchen counter space. True, Eagles Nest II is just a quick drive from a myriad restaurants specializing in everything from traditional Southern fare to fondue. But for those times when you’d rather enjoy a low-key meal in, the kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you could possibly need. There’s even a dishwasher, leaving you more time to soak in the hot tub. You can cook alfresco too, on the charcoal grill.

For maximum privacy, Eagles Nest II has a bedroom and a bathroom on each floor. The main floor’s bedroom includes a sumptuous king-size bed; the loft’s suite features a nearly as luxe queen. Each bedroom, furnished with the same quiet elegance as the great room, has a flat-screen TV and ample storage. Likewise, each bathroom is airy, spacious, and bright. The loft level does have a bonus feature: a Jacuzzi. After a day of hiking, skiing, or white-water rafting, its massaging jets of water will feel so good.

You’ll arrive at Eagles Nest II to find more than enough clean towels in both bathrooms, both beds beautifully made up, and extra bedding available, so if you want to start your stay with a nap or a soak in the hot tub, you can. Other amenities include a private washer and dryer and a level driveway with room for 2 vehicles.

You will not wanna leave Eagle's Nest II, your cabin offers an outdoor pool table/ping pong table, several board games, and a hot tub. The best amenity of all, however, is probably the cabin’s location.. It’s so close to just about everything that the region has to offer. In less than 10 minutes you can be at Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, where you can ski and snowboard in winter as well as ice-skating, visit the Wildlife Encounter and enjoy amusement rides year-round. The hiking and biking trails, wildlife, and waterfalls of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are just a 10-minute drive from Eagles Nest II; so is downtown Gatlinburg, home to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, mini golf, thrill rides, arcades, and more. And one town over, in Pigeon Forge, you can visit Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, Parrot Mountain and Gardens, dinner theaters, and an outlet mall, and more.

When you stay at Eagles Nest II you can do it all… unless you’d rather relax on the deck and do little more than soak in the hot tub. Before you can do anything, though, you need to book your stay, so go ahead and do so today!

Reviews for Eagles Nest II
Stayed here a few days with our son and dogs. Cabin was fantastic, well furnished, great views and short drive to Gatlinburg. Would highly recommend!

The chalet was welcoming and clean. Any essentials needed were there. We would stay again!
A warm and welcoming chalet. All essentials needed were included. We really enjoyed the visit. The hot tub was not heated and we could not get it heated in time before we left. We would definitely stay there again! Please know that the driveway is steep but that did not bother us at all. Wonderful place!

Perfect
At first my family and I were vacationing in Florida, but with Hurricane Micheal approaching we were evacuated. We spent the night in Alabama trying to figure out how to spend the rest of the vacation, and thought of Gatlinburg. Just a simple online process we were able to rent this perfect cabin! Everything was done via email and phone apps, which made the process simple and easy since we were going to be on the road most of a day traveling.  The cabin was a perfect size for 4 adults. Having 2 seperate bedrooms and bathrooms was a plus! The kitchen had almost everything that you need to prepare full meals. The driveway was steep, as I have never been to Gatlinburg, so be prepared.  My only complaint would be there are no cards or board games in the cabin. So if you want to just hang out with your family on a rainy day or late night bring them.  I will definitely be back soon, and would recommend this little cabin to anyone.

Awesome stay, great cabin! We even got to see a couple of bears!
We had a great time in this cabin. Good size for two couples. Not very updated (modern), however it was very clean and that was ALL we really cared for. Hot tub was nice, didn't really get to use the jacuzzi but it looked clean. During our stay we got to see two bears wandering literally by our cabin (we did not leave any food or trash outside, so make sure you don't either). We did not have any problems during our stay, so we didn't have to contact the host. We received two calls the next day after we arrived to follow up and make sure everything was good. Keep in mind this cabin is called Eagle's Nest for a reason. The first time we drove up there it seemed like a very long drive, but then we figured out it was way easier to get to the cabin by driving through town. Overall, we decided we will very likely be coming back in the fall!

Great location, perfect for our needs, very comfortable, great parking, nice and clean.
If you’re looking for a mountain retreat with lots of privacy, this is a great option.
