Description for Cajun Spice
With 2,000 beautifully furnished square feet, Cajun Spice offers plenty of room for as many as 6 guests to unwind between visits to Dollywood, downtown Gatlinburg & the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The home’s outdoor spaces are even more glorious than its interior.

Inside or out, however, you’ll be able to relish spectacular views of the mountains, the woodlands, and the seemingly endless sky. Bring your breakfast out to the deck’s dining set and watch the morning mist rise from the Smokies; snuggle on the deck swing with your sweetheart late at night in the silvery moonlight as owls hoot in the woods.

And any time, day or night is ideal for luxuriating in the deck’s hot tub. Stairs from the deck lead down to another patio area, as well as farther down to the creek that burbles along the lush property.

As serene and beautiful as Cajun Spice’s outdoor areas are, you do have to head indoors sometime. But even while you kick back in the great room, you’ll almost feel as if you’re outdoors, thanks to the oversized windows. Furnished with a plush sofa, armchairs, and a pair of sumptuous recliners, the room allows everyone to comfortably watch TV or surf the web via the free WiFi. On chilly winter evenings, the gas fireplace will make the room even more inviting. The great room includes a dining table that seats 6, along with a breakfast bar that seats 4. Cajun Spice’s kitchen will definitely have you eager to get cooking. Equipped with stainless steel appliances, a full array of cookware and tableware, and plenty of counter space, this sunny open area is large enough to accommodate several chefs—and like the rest of the great room, it allows you to gaze out at the mountains as you go about your business. What’s more, you can cook outdoors on the home’s charcoal grill. (Mmm, barbecue!)

One of Cajun Spice’s bedrooms is just off the great room, and like the great room, it opens directly onto the deck. If you sleep here you can be the first one into the hot tub in the morning! The bedroom itself includes a queen-size bed and a wall-mounted TV. So does the upstairs bedroom, which also boasts a delightful reading nook for 2, a wood-planked cathedral ceiling and huge windows that provide you with a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding trees.

The loft includes a 3rd sleeping area as well. Like the 2 bedrooms, this features a queen-size bed and a ceiling fan to help lull you to sleep on evenings when it’s not quite warm enough for the air-conditioning. As a bonus, the loft has a foosball table, perfect for after-dinner entertainment.

Cajun Spice has a bathroom on each floor. The main floor’s bathroom features a combination shower/tub; the upstairs en-suite has a shower. We’ll provide all the clean towels you could possibly need, and of course, the beds will be beautifully made up, with extra bedding at the ready, when you arrive. Other conveniences include a washer and a dryer, so you can pack lighter than usual.

Located in Gatlinburg’s desirable Cobbly Nob community, Cajun Spice is less than 10 minutes from Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by Grand Slam champion Gary Player. Just a few miles farther is the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an 8-mile trail of shops, galleries, and studios. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only 20 minutes away, and just a few minutes further is downtown Gatlinburg, whose attractions include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, and Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre.

No matter how you spend your days, you’ll love returning to the laid-back comforts of Cajun Spice. Book your stay today and get ready for a getaway you’ll long remember.

Reviews for Cajun Spice
Winter Getaway at Cajun Spice
Our family loved this rental home and appreciated the beautiful Christmas tree and decorations!  The home was so spacious and the kids loved all of the space to run around and play outside. We enjoyed the view, the porch, the furnishings and the game table! This cabin felt so private, but yet close to everything we needed. It was the perfect winter vacation!

The Great Holiday Escape
We loved the Cajun Spice, the kids enjoyed the decor and made our Christmas so special. We loved how we felt secluded but could still see other cabins near. It felt like home and and spacious and the pathway to the creek was great for the kids. There will be no hesitation that we will stay here again and making reservations and getting everything set up was as easy as 1,2,3. I highly recommend this cabin for families. great location!!!!!

Cajun Spice
One of the best views in all the years that we have been coming to Gatlinburg -15 years. Disappointed that we couldn't use master bedroom nor bath -locked! Upstairs bath too small and downstairs bedroom had to go thru other rooms to get to bathroom! Otherwise, nice place.

Cajun Spice
Cajun Spice is a beautiful cabin and it's very obvious that the owners have put a great deal of effort into making this cabin comfortable for it's guests. However, during our stay the cabin had a Ladybug infestation and we found several Cockroaches (dead and barely alive). We even had one hitch a ride back in one of our bags. The hot tub was set on 102 degrees and you were not able to adjust the temperature, so when you took the cover off and with the cold outside the temp dropped to 98.8 degrees and felt more like a warm bath.

24th Wedding Anniversary
We drove into Gatlinburg knowing we wanted a cabin, but had not made reservations as this was a spur of the moment vacation. We went to a Nascar race @ Kentucky Speedway & decided on Gatlinburg on our way home. We stopped @ Tenn. welcome center & picked up brochures on cabins & Mountain Rentals caught our eye!! We called & they had "Cajun Spice" available. Being from Louisiana we knew it had to be special. Cajun Spice exceeded our expectations!! The views of the mountains when you opened your eyes in the morning was spectacular!! The jacuzzi view was pretty awesome too!! The private deck down the mountain by the creek was sooo relaxing. The cabin was spotless, roomy, and very comfortable. The parking was excellent also. Thank you Mountain Rentals for providing us a wonderful place to stay and enjoy July 4th and July 5th (Our 24th Wedding Anniversary). A wonderful vacation place!!!!!!!!!!
