Reviews for Brook Trout Chalet
Awesome getaway
Was a great experience. Just wish we had wifi with internet
Very Enjoyable
Hi - we loved the location. The cleanliness of the house could have been better. I suggest at least two deep cleanings a year and power washing the outside decks, windows and gutters. We happened to be country girls so we could endure and run the vacuum The only other issue was the lady up the hill which we informed the management company and the owner is handling her. The neighbors down the road Mr Woodson were very nice and enjoyable. Would love to see pictures of the new bridge once it’s done.
Great family vacation
We had a great time on our vacation! The kids loved having the small creek to play in right by the cabin. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and it was great to be able to cook some of our meals at night and breakfast each morning and have room to all sit at the table. Aside from the very small and steep staircase we were not anticipating, everything was great! It is located close to town so navigating to our daily outings was super easy.
Amazing
We absolutely loved Brook Trout Chalet. My kids played in the creek that ran in front of the house every single day. I, however, used the hot tube every night after hiking the trails in the Smoky Mountains. The house is about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg and the park, which makes restaurants easily accessible. We will definitely be returning in the future. I am sure the scenery in the fall is absolutely beautiful.
Relaxing
While there were a few minor challenges with the house (burner out on stove, toilets backed up easily, coffee pot lid broken) the location was perfect for out visit.
