Description for Bear Hunter
The breathtaking view of Mount LeConte is one fabulous reason to spend your Smoky Mountain vacation in Bear Hunter—and there are plenty more as well. The four-bedroom log cabin, which sleeps fourteen, is rich in luxuries ranging from jetted tubs to a pool table.
Bear Hunter has three floors. A primary suite makes up the entire loft level. A haven in and of itself, this bedroom boasts a king-size bed beneath a wood-planked cathedral ceiling; like all the other bedrooms, it also has a TV with satellite channels. In this suite’s private bathroom you’ll find a large jetted tub. No matter how exhausted you are from hiking, biking, or golfing, a long soak among its massaging waters will have you feeling relaxed and restored.
Down one flight of stairs is the main floor. On this level is a second primary suite, complete with a king-size bed and a huge private bathroom with yet another Jacuzzi. With two luxurious suites, Bear Hunter is a wonderful choice for two families who want to vacation together.
Also on the main floor is the great room, which is truly worth of the name. A wall of picture windows lets you admire the Smoky Mountains even as you kick back on one of the two plush sofas or sit down to eat at the dining table, which seats ten. The hickory floors, the towering ceiling, and the handsome furnishings create an ambience of rustic elegance. In addition to the comfortable couches, the living area includes a large TV with a Blu-ray player and a fireplace for cozying around on chilly winter evenings.
Along with the large table, the dining area features a quartz-top breakfast bar where another four people can sit. The breakfast bar doubles as additional counter space for the fully equipped kitchen. From refrigerator to oven, microwave to dishwasher, coffeemaker to blender, Bear Hunter’s kitchen has all the appliances you’ll need—and all the cookware and tableware too. There’s also a grill outside, should you have a hankering for barbecue. Other amenities of the main floor include a washer, a dryer, and a half-bath.
If you’re wondering where the kids disappeared to, check the downstairs game room. There’s something here to keep everyone entertained for hours, if not days: a full-size pool table, a 60-game arcade, a 65” TV with surround sound and a Blu-ray player, a PlayStation 2, PlayStation 4 an Xbox 360… Even when you’re not playing games, the room is a marvelous spot for relaxing, thanks to its two sumptuous sofas and fireplace.
The remaining two bedrooms are also downstairs. One is furnished with a king-size bed; the other includes a pair of bunk beds, so that as many as four people can sleep here. Have additional guests? One of the sofas in the game room and one in the great room open into beds for two.
And let’s not forget Bear Hunter’s two decks, both of which wrap around three sides of the home. From the gliders and rockers you’ll have an exceptional view of the Smoky Mountains, including Mount LeConte, and lush woodlands. For a true sensory delight, luxuriate in the lower deck’s hot tub at night, gazing up at the star-studded sky as whip-poor-wills trill and owls hoot. It’s an experience you’ll long remember.
Bear Hunter’s quiet, semi-secluded location means you won’t be overlooking other cabins while you relax on the decks. Yet, the cabin is close to the area’s favorite attractions. The Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of galleries, shops, and studios, is within walking distance, and Rocky Top Sports World is just a ten-minute drive. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, Bent Creek Golf Course, and downtown Gatlinburg are all less than a half-hour away.
Convenience, luxury, comfort, and spectacular views: Bear Hunter has it all. Book your stay today, and get ready for a truly magical vacation.

Reviews for Bear Hunter
Awesome cabin rental! Our adult children and our grandchildren all had plenty of room to spread out. Cabin was clean and decorated true to the bear theme. One recommendation would be a mirror in bottom bedroom. Hope to be back in the fall!
Great location, lots of room! Kids had a great time! Overall, impressed! Highly recommended!
Great cabin,great location,great overall experience.
Our whole family (10) stayed in this cabin. Ages 6 months to 63. Plenty of space inside and close to all the attractions. Great view of the mountains. We will stay here again without a doubt.
Clean, great views, good location!
Instructions for access were easy to follow. The views were great! It was about 20 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean and well equipped with everything we needed.
Loved this cabin!
Great house with a great layout. The two separate living spaces made it so nice! The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a slow cooker! The best part was the wrap-around porch with rockers. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.
